Priyanka is a human rights lawyer and holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Politics and Law, an LLB as well as an LLM, from the University of Cape Town. She has previously worked for the Legal Resources Centre where she worked in the land programme and at Natural Justice where she worked in the Affirming and Securing Rights steam. She is now the Legal and Outreach Advisor to The Green Connection. Her work has supported the legal empowerment of local communities and supported them in opposing imposed offshore oil and gas development.
